More details of the football season's second surprise transfer emerged yesterday.
After Michael Owen's shock move to Man United, Disney's sports broadcaster ESPN signed up Sky.
It means ESPN's new channel - a substitute for collapsed station Setanta - will go live on Sky 417 and 443 from August 3.
The station, which will show 46 live Premier League games next season, will cost subscribers £12 a month or £9 a month if they also sign up to Sky Sports.
Espn will take pictures from Sky and add its own graphics and studio analysis.
The deal means Sky will be able to show all Premier League matches in high definition for the first time.
