Property Description

Located in the 5 star gated (guarded) resort of Windsor Palms, this recently renovated 4 bedroom home is minutes away from Disney World, Universal Studios, and other major attractions. You'll find all the comforts of home including a private pool, flat screen HDTVs, Netflix, Disney+, DVDs, XBOX 360 and N64, and a games room with pool table and foosball. Free wifi internet and long distance to the US and Canada. There are accommodations for up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms including a Queen master suite, Queen bedroom, a room with two twin beds, and one with bunkbeds. Our kitchen and dining room are fully furnished for you to choose when to eat in or to eat out. Our spacious living room is a great place to gather together and watch a favorite movie. BBQ grills, laptop computers and childcare accessories are available for rent throughout your stay. For those with young children, we have a stroller, pack&n play, and booster chair for use during your stay. Babysitting services are also available. In the resort for your enjoyment is tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, playground, large community pool and hot tub, fitness center, 58 seat 3D movie theater (free), internet cafe, business facilities and a games room. Don't feel like driving to the Orlando attractions? A shuttle service is available for a nominal fee. We loved our stay here! All the appliances were up to date and we had no issues with them. We had a party of 7, and we were very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone! We loved being able to use the pool at anytime, which was heated! We saved a lot of money by staying here, compared to a hotel. We were able to cook our own meals, do our laundry, and we were just a short drive away from the parks. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here on their vacation!

This is the fifth time that myself and my family (3 early teens) have stayed at the Windsor Palms (WP) resort since 2016 and our first time at Don and Sara's home. So, I am probably in a good position to compare it against other similar properties on the resort. Most properties in Windsor Palms where we have stayed, have generally had a reasonably good standard of interior and the resort communal areas are very well maintained. The resort is not a cheap-n-cheerful Kissimmee rental location, however it is not a Ritz Carlton style resort. If your looking for either of those, look elsewhere and double reble your budget if your looking for the latter. Any property which is rented year around by the owners is always going to experience some level of seasonal wear and tear from less careful guests. From the experiences of our stay, we had no concerns over the standard of this property and were pleased with the overall comfort and all the utilities it had. The primary reason we keep rebooking at WP is the quality of the overall resort, location and the facilities it offers. Overall the resort, feels like a safe and friendly community. However, the actual location of properties on the resort has previously been the differentiator for us and deciding factor in our choice, the more times we have visited the more selective we have become. The reason why we picked Don and Sara's property, is that it is close to both the entrance of the resort, the clubhouse (i.e. communal pool ennisasket ball) and the properties private pool is completely south facing. The property is also only a 2-3 minute walk to the communal pool area and so with younger children or older adults this is bearable in 90f summer heat, where as from other properties on the resort, the walk can be quite a bit longer. In summary, throughout the whole booking and during the stay, my contact with Don has been prompt and efficient and more like dealing with a friend. I have no complaints about the property and thought it was a great stay and is overall a better stay than most other properties on the resort we have stayed at. Thanks Don and Sara, all good here and we will be back.

We have stayed at Windsor Palms twice before in a condo and it is a beautiful complex. With our family growing, we decided to look at a house and our family of 6 and stayed at the Warm Getaway villa for a week in April 2022. It was perfect. It was clean, the pool was warm and it has everything you would need while away. It is close to all of the parks, restaurants and shopping (especially Target:) We had an amazing vacation. Don the owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. With Covid we were worried about booking too far in advance and he assured us, no matter what happened, he would work with us. We can't wait to go back!

The location of Warm Getaway villa is perfect for the Disney parks and the I4 for access to Universal and Seaworld parks. The villa itself has been renovated since our last stay and is a great place to relax, with games room, heated pool and sunny pool deck which is ideal for a morning read or swim. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well. equipped and living area is well furnished. The owner is responsive and so obviously takes pride in the villa. A great place to stay for a short or long vacation, and we will be returning later this year :).

Well what can I say? This villa is amazing. This was our first holiday to Florida and we had booked the holiday before Covid hit and as a result there were lots of disruption and changes. All of which the owner was incredibly supportive and flexible - even at late notice when we were considering moving the dates again, they were willing to bend over backwards to accommodate us. I am thankful we decided to still travel and the villa when we arrived was just amazing. Set in a beautiful complex which was absolutely spotless and the villa was the same. When we walked in we were taken aback as the photos (which we have been studying for a long time) didn't do this villa any justice. Lots of new refurbishments and the décor was fantastic. Slight issue with the pool but the owner arranged for a technician to come and resolve the issue but this didn't distract from our enjoyment. The location was absolutely perfect for us as we were there for the Parks - we get to Disney each time within 15 minutes and Universal within 25 minutes which with a young family this was perfect. We didn't venture much outside of the parks but the villa pack provided lots of possibilities if we wanted something different. Overall I would 100% recommend this villa if you are thinking of travelling to Florida - even more so if you are there for the Parks. The owner made us feel so welcome and nothing was a problem when we needed to communicate and always came back quickly when we needed them. This persona touch is what made the difference between this and a rental through a faceless management company.

When we arrived at Fan Palm Way entering every room all we could say was Wow! The Villa was close to all tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Our favourite part was the heated pool which we used daily! We had no issues in contacting Don or Global Marketing. Everyone was professional and friendly in answering our questions! We have already recommended the Villa to family and friends. We felt the Villa was our home for the 7 days to ring in the New Year of 2020. When we return, we will be renting Don and Sarah's Villa again!

Our family of 6 stayed here for 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this clean comfortable spacious home. The hosts were extremely helpful during the booking. The resort is very peaceful and only minutes drive from all the parks. There are plenty of restaurants / stores near by. Extremely clean and well kept, inside and out. Perfect location for all things Disney. Close to restaurants and quick shopping trips. Kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming day and night as the pool was the perfect temperature. Sleeping arrangements for a family of five could not have been better. We had a wonderful week and cannot wait to start planning our next visit. Owners made us feel at home and were very easy to book with, special thanks for the detailed labeling on all the TV remotes. We stayed in a fantastic location, within easy reach of all the parks (10 mins). We had stayed in that location before and knew how ideal it would be, in fact used Uber to go to the parks on a few days, cheaper than parking! The villa was perfect for us, very clean, well presented, cable TV, games room, consoles and a lovely south facing pool. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in this villa for 3 weeks in August 2018. Highly recommended. Great communication from both owners and management company. Late check in was perfect and smooth. Location was perfect for us, a short drive to shops, supermarket and restaurants and excellent location for Disney & Universal. The villa is clean and comfortable. We we did not spend much time in the villa but when we did cook we found it well-stocked with cooking utensils. The pool is a good size and the X-Box and games room provided much entertainment for the children. My husband and I even enjoyed a few games of pool. Having laundry facilities helped to minimise packing too. The resort itself is well kept and is very clean. The club house had a small shop which was a blessing with our late arrival for those necessities, ie milk etc.. This was our first villa so we have nothing to compare too but it certainly felt like home for our 3 weeks and cannot not find fault - didn't want to come home :( Definitely recommended by the Garratt family

We were happy with every aspect of our stay at this Windsor Palms Resort home. The house was spacious and comfortable, well appointed and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pool was fantastic. Most important to me is that everything was very clean. We loved the location -- close to more attractions than we could take in, as well as conveniences such as shopping, souvenirs and restaurants -- but also just far enough away that our time at the house was quiet, peaceful and utterly relaxing. Best of all were the homeowners. Don and Sarah were completely attentive and committed to ensuring we enjoyed our stay. They made everything easy for us. I highly recommend this vacation home. The house was great! Kitchen was large enough for our big family and was well stocked with utensils etc.. The only negative is the sliding door alarm. It was really annoying! Necessary for safety I know but boy was it loud! Overall great experience with communication with the owners as well. Can’t wait to go back!

We just got back from a wonderful week at this great vacation rental. Don and his wife were great to work with and even reached out to us while we were there to make sure everything was going good. We had 7 people in our group, 3 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved having a pool right outside the patio doors and if they weren't in the pool they were in the game room. It is a great location for getting to Disney World with a 5-10 minute drive depending on where you are going. It also is close to a lot of great restaurants and a super target and Walmart which we had to utilize because we forgot life jackets for our younger children. I have already recommended this place to my friends that are planning Disney trips and would definitely love to stay here in the future. Thanks for a wonderful week of memories!

we've stayed at Windsor palms before so knew what we were getting with the location. Just 15 -20 mins from Disney and 30 mins from Universal and the outlets for shopping. The communial pool is great for the kids and offers adults a lovely little tiki bar . The house was perfect for us we had great fun in the evenings playing pool in the garage and using the pool during the day when we weren't out exploring. The only issue we had was quite a small one which is there was no parasol for the pool area so there wasn't any shaded areas to sit out. but we would definitely return to this property.

We planned on visiting the theme parks while on this vacation and the location of this beautiful home was perfect and close to the parks as well as variety of restaurants and stores. The home was spacious and well-equip for the kids with a pool (with pool alarm), foosball table and pool table. The community center was great too with a splash pad, pool and arcade. The owners were very kind and helpful through the reservation process as was the leasing office. I would definitely rent here again, great experience!! Thank you, Don!

Our family LOVED this place. This was our first time visiting Disney with our kids (3) and we couldn't have picked a better home or location to stay. I would highly recommend staying here with your family (or two families of 4). We had tons of space and the drive to Disney couldn't have been easier. The house had everything we needed (except a BBQ). The pool was perfect for coming home to after a hot day at the parks. All the kitchen gadgets we could have asked for. My son LOVED the gaming systems and my middle child loved having her own room. The only items to note is that it doesn't have a BBQ (apparently this can be rented) and it has carpet throughout. It has two strollers (umbrella) but you are better off renting your own as they didn't work very well. Excellent property! Great house for families visiting Disney. Perfect location...gated community that is only 10-15 mins from Disney parks and 5-7 mins from restaurants, grocery stores, etc in Kissimmee. Home was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all 8 of us staying there. Enjoyed the backyard pool but kids enjoyed the community pool even more for the off-days from Disney. Would recommend this place to any family or families looking for an ideal place to stay while visiting the area.

Just returned from a wonderful time in Orlando staying at Don and Sarah's rental home there for 11 days. The Windsor Palms home was exactly as advertised, nicely furnished, and fully equipped with everything one might need.... plus a VERY nice heated pool. The location is ideal, being somewhat secluded but just a couple minutes from anything you want or need on Rt 192. Some friends booked a Windsor Hills home that was equally nice inside but had a myriad of small issues that soon became a constant irritation. Our owners were very helpful and available, making our stay as enjoyable as possible and it was certainly a pleasure getting to know them. We appreciated their personal attention to detail. On this trip I learned that it is the local management company that makes the difference in keeping the house in tip top shape. The Global Resort Homes folks were quite helpful and responsive resolving a couple early questions with their personal attention. We had a very minor issue day 1 and a service guy from Global had it fixed an hour after my call, while my friends had a VM number to leave messages, answered only during normal biz hours. So I look forward to a return visit to 8159 Fan Palm Way, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to our friends and family. We had a 5 star experience.. thank you Don and Sarah!!! Much appreciated!

The property we rented from Don on Fanpalmway was an excellent choice. All amenities were available and it was so nice to have a swim in our private pool have a day at Walt Disney World. The drive to Disney was about 10 minutes depending on traffic. We had a great time and there were no issues or concerns. Lovely home and great for two families. Loved it. Will go back.

We rented this house for a party of 6, and we enjoyed the house very much. My 10 year old daughter and 5 year old son loved the swimming pool. The location is convenient, close to Disney World and not far from Universal Studio Orlando. The kitchen has all the appliances that we needed for cooking. Our family stayed here recently, it was our 1st time renting a vacation home. I had read many reviews of this and other places and must say this house in particular has more than the "basics". Plenty of extra towels; kitchen stocked with pretty much any gadget you might need! and extras such as the pack n play; and umbrella strollers. The game systems may be older than what my kids are used to BUT that made it fun for them, to have something they hadn't played before. They loved the pool & foosball, (personally I'd love it if there was a air hockey table) We loved having the washer and dryer at our disposal (great to come home with suitcases full of clean clothes) My kids had a great time splashing around in the pool! They loved the relaxed atmosphere of pool time and game time. This was also the first time we didn't go to the Disney parks. Amazingly no one missed it; the heat probably helped that a bit. We found lots of fun things to do out of the sun, such as the new sea life aquarium; madam tussauds and wonder works. The boys all said their favorite part was the pool. Having their own pool, right out back. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Aside from wrangling a gecko, we had a great time! Thank you Don; it was comforting knowing there was an actual person to call had we needed anything.

We have stayed in other Windsor Palm locations, but this by far exceeded our expectations... Our daughter comes every year for Volleyball Nationals and with the tremendous schedule- it was wonderful to be able to dip in the pool at any hour!!! Our daughter was able to have her own space to relax between games... Cant wait to come back next year!!!!!!!!!

This was a great place for our two week vacation. Incredibly clean and well maintained and had more than the comforts of home. Fully stocked kitchen, netflix and multiple gaming systems which was a definite hit with our teenager. With 4 kids ranging in age from 6-17 the layout was perfect for everyone to be able to spread out and do their own thing. The games room was a huge hit with the kids as was the pool. Having laundry facilities meant we traveled with carry on luggage only which was perfect. We went to all the Disney parks while we were there and travel time was never over 10 minutes. The community facilities were really nice and everyone was very friendly. Very close to a lot of amenities and was a quiet, family oriented type neighborhood. Dealing with the owners Don and Sarah was a pleasure and everything was really hassle/worry free. I would highly recommend this house and would definitely return!

Dear Don and Sarah, Thank-you for opening up your home away from home for our Disney Vacation! From the moment we walked through the front door, we felt at home! As a mother of 3 little boys, the boys were immediately thrilled that there was a pool, games room and the bunk beds helped too :) Having a 2 year old we really appreciated that there was a booster high chair for meals, a pack and play for sleeping and even a washer and dryer! My husband and I were thrilled that your home was even closer to Disney and the other parks, then we thought, which was perfect after a long and fun day at the park, to get our little ones home quickly and to bed. This was our first family vacation trip where we booked a home rental and not stayed at a hotel or resort. After spending a 12 days in this Kissimmee vacation villa rental I cant imagine vacationing any other way. The house was huge with plenty of room for multiple guests that joined us on our trip. Everyone really enjoyed having their own space, with a TV and other gaming entertainment in each room, big hit for the kids and the common areas (kitchen, living room, pool and patio) were fantastic. My husband loved the game room with the pool and foosball ball tables. I was amazed at how well organised the Villa is, with supporting instructions provided throughout the home. The booking process was flawless and we had great communication every step of the way. The location was fantastic for anyone visiting Disney, but convenient to everything else in the area. We had a great holiday at this villa it had all we needed and more. The pool was great for cooling down and having fun with the kids. As we come on holiday to relax (in between visits to the parks). We eat out mostly when in Florida and this is our third visit the well equipped kitchen in the villa was wasted on us with breakfast usually the only meal prepared on a daily basis. Weve stayed in this area before and found all the local amenities great. Lots of different restaurants and shops for all you may need. Another plus is the location, only a short distance to the Disney parks and not too far from sea world and universal either. Easy access to I4 for our runs up to Tampa and Busch Gardens. Would recommend the villa to anyone.

Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely home in December 2013. The house has 4 beds, 2 baths with lots to keep us entertained during our stay. The house itself had everything we needed, the TVs and dvds in each room were a hit with the kids. Everyone in the family had fun with the pool table. The pool area was great and our kids loved the novelty of having a pool 5 steps from the back door. This home is located in a gated community which is very quiet as well. Its 10 minutes from Disney and 15 minutes from the outlet mall. There are restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and activities within a few miles. Our kids particularly enjoyed the mini golf at the end of the main road. This house felt like home and was a very relaxed and comfortable place for us to stay during our vacation. Weve already recommended it to our friends and family!
