Just two-and-a-half miles from Walt Disney World, close to Sea World and Universal Studios, Windsor Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, offers the best of all possible worlds for couples travelling with children or extended families. Though it's an easy half-hour drive from Orlando International Airport and just a few miles off Route 192's brightly lit strip of restaurants and shopping, it feels like a relaxed oasis, removed from the tourist hubbub.

The Comforts of Home

Our properties are independently owned and therefore reflect some unique touches in furnishings and decor. You're sure to find our home away from home will suit you.

This six-bedroom home will provide you with the comforts of home and then some! The kitchen boasts a full-size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave oven, double sink, and dishwasher. Cabinets house a blender, toaster plus margarita glasses, banana split boats, and an assortment of pots, pans, and utensils. On the wall are the speed-dial numbers for local pizza and Chinese takeout delivery for those of you who don't enjoy cooking on vacation. With a first floor washer and dryer you can launder your favorite outfits several times during the trip.

The architecture might be described as southern contemporary with three downstairs bedrooms off the open floor plan living room, dining room, and kitchen with breakfast bar. Four bathrooms means peace, privacy, and convenience, especially for parents who enjoy a spacious, bright master bathroom with an extra-wide double sink and vanity, glass-enclosed walk-in shower, oversized tub, and walk-in closet. In addition to the king-size bed in three of the master bedrooms, there is a queen size bed, a set of twin beds and bunk beds in the one Disney-themed room. The home is beautifully decorated throughout and perfectly maintained.

For entertainment, we have a games room, hi-fi stereo system; a play-station 2 with games in one of the kids' rooms; and 7 HDTVs and 6 DVD players, including one in the master bedroom and a  50" wide-screen with DVD player in the living room with fim library. Of course, our private heated pool and spa is the ultimate in luxury. Alarms on each of the doors leading to the patio will alerted you if little ones attempt to head out to the pool unsupervised.

High chair and portable crib are provided to make the stay more comfortable for baby. And while it feels like home, you can arrange for housekeeping services at an additional charge, so it still feels like a vacation.

The Amenities of a Great Resort

All guests enjoy a wide array of resort amenities that offer parents both privacy and peace of mind. At the center of the resort is the 7,500-square-foot Clubhouse, tastefully decorated for guests' enjoyment. It's a perfect place to gather friends and family. Within the Clubhouse guests will find the fitness center, the game room with pool tables and video games, and the sundry shop. In addition, guests can use the 58-seat state of the art movie theater. Imagine a vow renewal where you share treasured memories from home videos, or perhaps a private showing of your all-time favorite romantic movie on the big screen for your second honeymoon?

Outside, the three-acre recreation area includes tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball courts and a children's playground designed for fun and safety. The Olympic-size community pool and spa invite guests to enjoy the Florida sun with fellow vacationers. Windsor golfers enjoy special rates at two nearby courses.
